Native and pest animal surveys are often the first and most critical step in understanding whether a management issue exists and, if so, its scale, drivers, and potential impacts. AEVPMS undertakes structured surveys to establish an evidence-based baseline, enabling informed decisions before management actions are considered or implemented.
Our surveys are designed to identify the presence, distribution, activity levels, and interactions of species with land use, production systems, and environmental values. This information provides the foundation necessary to determine whether intervention is required and, if so, to design management plans that are proportionate, targeted, and effective.
Survey outputs can be tailored to suit both informal internal assessments and formal documentation, supporting landholder decision-making, operational planning, compliance requirements, funding applications, and the development of defensible management programs.
