At Australian Environmental Vertebrate Pest Management Services (AEVPMS), we provide targeted, humane, and scientifically backed control of European red foxes (Vulpes vulpes) across New South Wales. Our integrated fox management services are designed to protect native wildlife, livestock, and ecosystems from one of Australia’s most damaging introduced predators.

Introduced to Australia in the 1800s, foxes have become a widespread pest responsible for:

• Predation of native species, including ground-nesting birds, reptiles, and small mammals

• Significant lamb losses on sheep properties

• Disease transmission, including hydatidosis and mange

• Impacts on biodiversity, contributing to multiple species’ decline and extinction

AEVPMS takes an evidence-based, site-specific approach to fox control. We prepare a comprehensive Pest Management Plan (PMP) for each site that considers land use, terrain, and presence of non-target species.

Our licensed and experienced operators implement:

• Night-vision and thermal shooting, including suppressed firearms to minimise disruption

• Remote camera surveillance and GPS tracking to monitor movement patterns

• Coordinated baiting programs in compliance with NSW regulations (where approved)

• Den location and destruction methods in sensitive areas

• Integrated control with other pest species, such as feral cats and wild dogs
